Personal data protection charter

Monavate UAB and PayTrip are responsible for the processing of personal data collected by PayTrip. PayTrip SAS operates as a distributor of Monavate UAB, an electronic money institution authorized and regulated by the Bank of Lithuania under license number 92. PayTrip offers a white-label electronic payment solution, including an account and prepaid cards backed by electronic wallets.


As such, we ensure that only the data strictly necessary to provide the services offered when subscribing to PayTrip services, throughout the business relationship, and during management and marketing operations, is collected. All forms are designed to collect only relevant and necessary information and are regularly reviewed to comply with current regulatory requirements.


When data collection is optional, a specific mention will indicate this. All personal data processing is carried out in compliance with legal obligations. Data collection serves a specific purpose, indicated on the forms and collection tools, along with an explanation of the applicable legal or contractual framework. You may be asked to provide personal data, which will be processed by PayTrip and/or Monavate to respond to your requests, fulfill a contractual or legal obligation.


For certain processing, such as commercial prospecting, your explicit consent is required. You may withdraw this consent at any time without affecting your relationship with PayTrip. The data is mainly used for customer relationship management, PayTrip account management, compliance, anti-money laundering and fraud prevention, and marketing campaigns. It may be transmitted to competent authorities upon request during investigations.


When your personal data is no longer necessary, only the information subject to a legal archiving obligation or for which you have given your consent will be retained for a period of 6 years after the contract ends. The data may be entered and processed in systems under the responsibility of PayTrip and Monavate.


We ensure the confidentiality, quality, and integrity of your data by applying the best security practices. Only authorized employees can access your data, under a confidentiality obligation. No data will be disclosed to third parties without your consent or a legal requirement. Data recipients are mentioned in the contracts or collection forms.


Some data may be transferred to service providers outside the European Union, under appropriate security measures. You have rights of access, rectification, deletion, portability, and restriction of processing of your data.
