We have worked tirelessly to provide you with a completely redesigned application, offering an enhanced experience with innovative and secure features.

paytrip is evolving: everything you need to know

Service updates

We are excited to introduce our new program in partnership with Monavate and Mastercard®. This strategic partnership allows us to bring significant innovations in the field of payments and money transfers.

We are pleased to announce the gradual reopening of all our legacy services. Here are the main improvements and features now available to you:

  • new IBAN account: all balances from your accounts and cards will be transferred to your new free European IBAN account. Please provide this new IBAN to all relevant third parties (organizations, employers, etc.) as soon as possible.

  • Virtual card: to give you immediate access to a payment method, we are offering a virtual card for your online purchases. This card will be available as soon as your new IBAN account is linked, starting from August 22, 2024.

  • Physical card: as part of our service migration, you will be able to order a new PayTrip Mastercard physical card at any time, offering more benefits and a fresh look.

  • Card orders for your loved ones: in the coming days, you will once again be able to order cards for your loved ones. This feature is currently under development.

    We remain at your disposal for any assistance and thank you for your patience and loyalty during this transition period. We are confident that these new improvements will meet your expectations and enhance your user experience with PayTrip.

Joining PayTrip has never been easier or faster! Upon registration, you will immediately receive an IBAN account and a virtual card. You will also have the option to order a physical payment card, which will be shipped directly to your address.

To sign up, download the PayTrip mobile app. It will only take a few minutes to verify your identity and give you access to all PayTrip services.

What's new

Available on the App Store and Google Play, the new design of the PayTrip app has been created to be even more user-friendly and simple to use:
  • An intuitive dashboard: Access your PayTrip account and cards directly from the app’s dashboard. Easily view the details of your transactions as well as an overview to manage your account, transactions, your cards, and those of your beneficiaries.
  • Simplified money transfer management: PayTrip will soon offer a variety of money transfer methods, allowing you to send money to your loved ones anywhere in the world even more easily. Leveraging our experience in money transfers, we have designed a new interface that perfectly meets your expectations, enabling you to stay in control of your beneficiaries and preferred transfer methods.
  • Accessibility and clarity: With its modern and streamlined design, our new interface is even more accessible, allowing everyone to manage their budget, payments, and money transfers effortlessly and with complete transparency.
The new PayTrip virtual card is a digital Mastercard® debit card, available immediately upon registration. This innovation allows you to make online purchases instantly, providing a convenient and secure solution.
  • Limits and enhanced security: The virtual card comes with limits similar to those of your physical card. Convenient and secure, it provides all the necessary safeguards for online payments.
  • Complete management: You have full control of your card directly from the PayTrip app. Block, unblock, and view your card details in real time.
  • Cards for your loved ones: Coming soon, PayTrip customers will be able to provide virtual cards to their loved ones anywhere in the world. Your beneficiaries will be able to manage their card through the beneficiary section of our app.

Upcoming features

The Start plan is our new offering for those looking for a payment method at €0/month, with no commitment. Accessible in just a few clicks and without any formalities, you’ll immediately receive a free prepaid virtual card with a limited spending cap and no overdraft options.

You can also order a prepaid physical card, which will also have a limited spending cap. Whenever you wish, you can switch to our Classic plan for €3.90/month, with no commitment, and enjoy increased spending limits as well as all PayTrip money transfer features.

Money Transfers to Bank Accounts and Cards

PayTrip will soon allow instant money transfers to any Visa® or Mastercard® bank account and card in Europe, and later, internationally. This feature is designed to simplify sending money to your loved ones, providing them with a fast and secure solution to receive funds directly on their card or bank account.

We are making money transfers easier for you and the recipient, who can receive the money on their existing card. This feature offers you more flexibility and adapts to your money transfer needs.

To better meet your needs, we are expanding our services to include money transfers to mobile wallets worldwide.

Is your recipient in Africa subscribed to a mobile money service like Orange Money, MTN, Moov, Wave, Wizall, Tigo, Money Money, and many others? You can now send them money instantly by simply entering their phone number.

Have you ordered payment cards for your recipients? We have developed a dedicated app for them to check their transactions, manage their card, and access many other features.

The PayTrip recipient app is currently in development and will provide a dedicated space for simple and effective management of transferred funds.

Questions / Answers

The change in IBAN is due to our transition to a new banking partner. All balances from your previous accounts and cards have been transferred to your new IBAN account.

From now on, the PayTrip app is only available on mobile and can be downloaded from mobile app stores.
